The Challenge
A battle panel lives or dies on credibility. Dancers want a judge who knows the foundation, can call a round without bias, and can explain why it went the way it did — then back it up on the floor when the crowd asks for a showcase.
What I Did
- //Score on foundation, musicality, execution, and battle IQ — stated out loud before the rounds start.
- //Give short, specific feedback so a dancer leaves knowing what to sharpen.
- //Hold the standard for every round regardless of who's in the circle.
- //Close with a showcase set when the event books it, so the panel earns the room.
